The Regulation which allows one-day employment contracts with workers for seasonal agricultural work, comes into force on 21st of July. The contracts will be registered with the regional labor inspection directorates, depending on the location of the farms.
Registered farmers are enabled to enter into one-day employment contracts with workers only for work such as crop processing and harvesting. Under these contracts, one worker can be employed for no longer than 90 days per year. The chief labour inspection has created a special register of the one-day employment contracts.
