For tenth consecutive year, the International Youth Festival of Arts (IYFA), entitled “Muzite” (The Muses) was opened on 5th of July in the Bulgarian town of Sozopol on the Black Sea coast. This year, the event is held under the patronage of Bulgaria’s Vice President, Margarita Popova.
The jubilee programme of the festival includes contests at different forms of arts: big public concerts, exhibitions, theatrical performances, animations and entertainment. The event started with presentation of the participants and official opening of the stage of “Apolonia” amphitheatre.
Over 1,800 from 15 countries will take part, including 27 creative ensembles and 43 solo artists.
IYFA “Muzite” will run until 15th of July.
