Stockbreeders and tobacco growers staged another protest outside the building of Bulgaria’s Ministry of Agriculture on 31st of March.
They demand that the agriculture minister cancel an Order dated 28th of February according to which the farmers cannot apply for European subsidies under organic farming and agroecology measures.
Tobacco producers insist on changes in the way of pricing of one of the tobacco varieties for which less is paid per kilogramme when the harvest is greater.
The protest passed without clashes and will go on next week.
