A 19-year-old woman from Byala Slatina has died in a car accident near Bobov Dol. The alert was received at 21:40 last night, December 9. The accident occurred in the area of a petrol station close to the town.
The car was driven by a 21-year-old woman who tested negative for alcohol and drugs. The victim and the car’s owner were travelling as passengers.
The owner of the vehicle sustained severe injuries and has been admitted to a hospital in Sofia in a critical condition.
Pre-trial proceedings have been launched by the Bobov Dol Regional Police Department, and an on-duty prosecutor from the Kyustendil District Prosecutor’s Office has been notified.
