A plane has made an emergency landing at Sofia Airport after a passenger died on board, the airport's press centre said on January 4. The landing was around 12.00 noon.
The plane, which was operated by Pegasus Airlines, was flying from Izmir, Turkey, to London Stansted Airport.
Appropriate action is being taken by the relevant authorities, the airport said.
