Calls for “Resignation” were heard once again this evening, December 3, in front of the government and Parliament buildings in Sofia.
Demonstrators gathered shortly after 18:00 to express their dissatisfaction with state policy. Police were present in the area, but the protest remained peaceful. Traffic was not stopped.
In Ruse, protesters also gathered outside the municipal building. They demanded a change to the political model as well as the resignation of both the government and Parliament. Demonstrators expressed opposition to planned increases in local taxes and fees.

An anti-government protest was also held in Montana, where participants called for an end to what they described as the “Borisov–Peevski model”. The crowd spoke out against what they see as state capture and the neglect of the interests of people in Northwestern Bulgaria.

Tensions rose at the protest in Sliven after a group of masked youths started throwing smoke bombs and firecrackers. The protest was organised via social media.
