Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament Sahiba Gafarova arrived on an official visit to Bulgaria on September 12. Her visit is at the invitation of the Speaker of Bulgaria’s Parliament, Rosen Zhelyazkov.
Gafarova laid a wreath at the Monument to the Unknown Soldier in the capital Sofia and held a one-on-one meeting with Rosen Zhelyazkov.
Plenary talks with MPs from both countries are scheduled. The meetings are being held in the historic parliament building on National Assembly Square.
Sahiba Gafarova will also hold talks with President Rumen Radev and Prime Minister Nikolai Denkov.
