BNT-Ruse Receives Regional Media Award

BNT-Ruse regional TV centre has been awarded a regional media prize at the Annual Awards of the “Global Libraries – Bulgaria” Foundation.

Journalist Hristo Rayanov was nominated by the Regional Library “Lyuben Karavelov” – Ruse for his comprehensive coverage of the library’s activities over the past period and for his contribution to highlighting and developing topics related to public library development.

The award was presented at a ceremony in Sofia. Other winners included:

• Bulgarian National Radio (BNR) and journalist Gergana Khrishcheva for the podcast “In the Centre of the System” in the category National Media.
• Association “First of June” in the Sponsor category.
• Botevgrad Municipality and Mayor Ivan Gavalyugov in the Public Institution category.
