From the Parliamentary rostrum on 11th of February, the centre-right GERB, the “Reformist Block” and the nationalist alliance “Patriotic Front” made declarations regarding the crisis in Ukraine.
The Parliamentary Group of GERB has said that Russia is not a threat to the country and that Bulgaria has no intention to war with anybody and that it builds its armed forces for the purposes of protection and defence.
The Patriotic Front called for facilitated procedure for issuing of visas to ethnic Bulgarians in Ukraine. They also insisted that humanitarian assistance be provided for the Bulgarian community in that region.
The Reformist Bloc reminded that Bulgaria should adhere to its commitments as an EU and NATO member.
