By 13.00 on 5th of October, the voter turnout is 23,24%, i.e. about 1, 603, 988 people cast their vote, announced the spokesperson of the Central Election Commission (CEC), Alexander Andreev.
The lowest turnout was in the South Bulgarian region of Kardzhali - 17.30% and in 24th electoral district in Sofia – 18,97%.
The highest turnout was 27,78% in 28th electoral district in Targovishte in the North-East Bulgaria.
Other districts with high turnout were Lovech - 27,32% and Veliko Turnovo - 27,14%.
