Serious exceedance of the norm for air pollution in Sofia this morning, December 20, was reported by the civic platform air.bg.
In places, the norm of 50 micrograms per cubic meter is doubled. The air is dirtiest this morning in the residential districts of "Suhata Reka", "Hristo Smirnenski" and "Zone B-5".

The excess concentration of fine dust particles along Tsarigradsko Shose Blvd., Lozenets district and some of the central parts of the city is also serious.
As of 12:00 p.m., the increase in fine particulate matter was 2 times higher than the norm in the districts of Zone B5, Suhata Reka and Orlandovtsi.
In Plovdiv, Varna and Blagoevgrad, the air is also polluted.
