Four medals - one gold, one silver and two bronze, were won by Bulgarian students during the Seventh European Youth Olympiad in Informatics hosted by Kutaisi, Georgia.
A total of 96 young people from 24 countries took part in the competition.
The winner of the gold medal was Andrey Stefanov from Sofia. The other three students Serkan Rashid, Simona Hristova and Ivo Ivanov are from Shumen. Team leaders are Ilian Yordanov from the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (IMI-BAS) and School "Olympians", and Dimitar Dobrev - Shumen University "Bishop Konstantin Preslavsky and lecturer at School A&B.
