The accident occurred in the early afternoon between the town of Marten and the village of Sandrovo
A girl has died and three young people have been injured in a road accident between the town of Marten and the village of Sandrovo. The iaccident occurred early this afternoon, Deember 1, on an internal road linking the two settlements.
According to initial information, the car was being driven by an 18-year-old man, who was travelling with three girls aged 17 and 18.
The injured were transported to a hospital in Ruse for examination and medical treatment. One of the girls is in critical condition with head and chest trauma and multiple fractures, and has undergone emergency surgery. Another girl has sustained facial injuries and leg trauma, while the driver has suffered abrasions.
The crash occurred on a straight section of the road, where the vehicle veered off to the left and struck two trees in succession. Tests carried out on the 18-year-old driver for alcohol and narcotics returned negative results.
