HEAVY RAINS AND COLD WEATHER EXPECTED ACROSS BULGARIA

Meteorologists are warning that torrential rains, snow and snowdrifts are expected for almost the whole of Bulgaria over the next days.

Intensive rainfall and strong wind are forecast for eight regions in the West and Central Bulgaria.

Strong wind is predicted for the South and East of Bulgaria.

The North and the Central parts of the country are expected to experience snow and snowdrifts.

There is a concern about a potentially serious situation in the South Bulgarian region of Smolyan, because of a likelihood of a repeat of the torrential rains.
