The humanitarian assistance programme for Ukrainians with temporary protection in Bulgaria is extended until 30 September, the press office of the Council of Ministers said on June 28.
According to the decision, hoteliers will continue to receive BGN 15 per person per day for accommodation. The allowance is used in categorised or registered accommodation places, entered in the National Tourist Register, after persons seeking temporary protection have passed through buffer centres.
Due to the lack of an integration programme prepared by the caretaker cabinet with real measures to accommodate persons with temporary protection in Bulgaria, the government has instructed the ministers of labour and social policy and of education and science to develop proposals for specific integration measures within one month, which will be included in a new programme.
