The Ministry of Interior has carried out inspections at financial loan companies offering fast credit, as well as at pawnbrokers, BNT has learned.
The checks were prompted by operational intelligence suggesting that some of these businesses may be used to channel funds to provocateurs seeking to infiltrate protests and incite disorder.
A number of such firms in the southwestern districts of Sofia are currently being examined. According to our information, the Cobra tactical unit has entered at least one fast-loan office.
