Investigative and search actions have been launched at the properties of former gambling businessman Vassil Bozhkov in Sofia . Investigators are looking for evidence related to the murder of businessman Alexey Petrov.

There are many police officers in front of Bozhkov's office on "Moskovska" street. This is the address where the gambling boss has been serving his house arrest since late August.

Vassil Bozhkov told media later on January 19 that the actions in his property were political repression and added that he had no relations with Alexei Petrov and had nothing to do with him.
He added that nothing has been seized during the search, no one has been detained. Bozhkov announced that he is preparing a new political project.
