The lower pressure of gas deliveries from Russia in the recent weeks in practice means that at the moment Bulgaria receives reduced volumes of gas than agreed, said the Energy Minister, Vassil Shtonov, on 29th of October after the regular weekly meeting of the government.
According to him, unofficial information suggested that the drop of gas supplies was due to temporary technical problems in Russia.
Shtonov said he could not confirm whether it was a technical or a political problem, because there were no measuring devices at the border between Russia and Ukraine and it was not clear how much gas goes in Ukraine.
