Looking for a way out of the crisis in which Sofia City Council finds itself related to the election of chair, municipal councillors are organising a meeting with representatives of the parties in the capital's parliament on December 28.
After five unsuccessful attempts, Sofia is still without a city council chair, with the next sitting scheduled for 11 January.

The BSP for Bulgaria came out with a firm position that they will not send representatives to the meeting, organized by the municipal councilor from "Sinya Sofia" , Villi Lilkov, and Carlos Contrera from IMRO, because it was intended to - "set the stage for a future “assemblage” between the We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria and GERB-UDF in the Sofia municipality."
Vazrazhdane did not respond to the call for meeting.
