The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) has expressed its full support and solidarity with Germany’s position, which accused Russia of election interference and a cyberattack targeting air traffic. This was stated by the Ministry in a post on the X platform.
Today, Germany accused Russia of conducting a cyberattack on the German air traffic control system and of orchestrating a destabilisation campaign during the parliamentary elections, reported AFP and the Associated Press, noting that the Russian ambassador in Berlin was summoned to the Foreign Ministry in connection with these allegations.
Russia’s hybrid actions, including recent cyberattacks and coordinated disinformation efforts, are unacceptable, the Ministry stated, adding that Bulgaria remains united with its partners in combating these threats.
