The Chief Secretary of Bulgaria’s Ministry of Interior, Svetoslav Lazarov, submitted resignation to the Prime Minister Borissov early in the morning on 6th of March. However the acceptance of the resignation will not be immediately signed by the Prime Minister because the Chief Secretary has some work to finish before he leaves.
The Head of Bulgaria’s State Agency for National Security (SANS), Vladimir Pisanchev, also resigned in the morning on 6th of March.
Both resignations come a day after PM Borissov said in Parliament that he would demand the MoI Chief Secretary and the Head of SANS to step down from the posts.
