A 49-year-old woman from Tsarevo was detained in police custody for causing moderate bodily harm to her 8-year-old son. The investigation began after a report was received at the district police station on 1 August this year, according to which at around 18.10 on 29 July on Tsarevo Road the woman pulled and threw the child out of the passenger compartment of the car.
Fast rack proceedings were initiated immediately, and a number of operational and procedural investigative actions were launched, leading to the identification and arrest of the woman.
At the request of the District Prosecutor's Office - Burgas, a compulsory detention order was issued. The child victim was interviewed in a "blue room" in the presence of qualified psychologists, a judge of the District Court - Burgas and a special representative.
The fast track proceedings were merged with another pre-trial proceedings against the detainee, initiated in connection with a report that during an unspecified period of time this year she left her two minor children, aged 5 and 8, without supervision and care. The work on the case continues.
