The police caught a total of 28 illegal migrants in a vehicle on Botevgradsko Shose Boulevard in Sofia, the Ministry of Interior press office said on January 2, 2024
The driver of the van was a 21-year-old man and he had a 19-year-old companion with him. Both are known to police.
All passengers in the van have been detained. The vehicle has a French registration.
