Protesting grain growers from the districts of Dobrich, Varna and Burgas blocked the road to Romania near the village of Kardam for about an hour on March 29.
Around 200 machines, most of them heavy agricultural machinery, joined the procession from General Toshevo to the border crossing. Traffic remained blocked for two hours.
The main demand of the protesters is for urgent and adequate actions by the caretaker cabinet and President Rumen Radev to veto the duty-free import of agricultural produce from Ukraine.
The grain growers were joined by sheep farmers and fruit growers.
The protest will continue over the next two days.
