The operation has been carried out in the South Bulgarian towns of Pazardzhik, Plovdiv, Smolyan and Haskovo. It started at 7.00 a.m. and is part of a preliminary pre-court procedure for alleged crimes related to promoting antidemocratic ideology or propagation of war.
Much evidential material has been seized. The investigation is on-going. The work of the prosecutors and SANS agents is supported by the Gendarmerie. Additional information will be provided when it does not pose a threat for the investigative activities, the Prosecutor’s Office said.
