“THE WALLS OF EUROPE” – part two “EAST” (video)

Part two of the documentary “The Walls of Europe”, entitled “East”, is dedicated to 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall and the beginning of the democratic changes in Eastern Europe.

The authors of the film seek to find what has changed since 1989 and how the European East looks today?

The film features André Schinkel, a German poet; Hans-Dietrich Genscher, a former Foreign Minister; Emilian Kamiński, a Polish actor and activist; Bogdan Borusewicz, organizer of the Gdansk strike of 1980, Speaker of the Polish Senate; Prof. Andreas Ranft, a German historian; Adam Michnik, a onetime Solidarity activist and now publisher of Gazeta Wyborcza; Italian writer and actress Margaret Mazzantini, etc.
