Court remands undertaker and loan shark accused of murdering 49-year-old Kiril Rusev
According to the Prosecutor's office, after Rusev's murder, the accused Alexandar Kinov and Petar Aleksnadrov passed through the border crossing in Serbia, as Kinov had left Bulgaria with the identity card of the murdered Kiril Rusev. They thus tried to create the impression that Rusev had left the country.
A counter-check by the border authorities in Serbia shows that the two then returned to the country with their original identity documents.
Disciplinary proceedings have been initiated by orders of the director of the Border Police General Directorate, Chief Commissioner Anton Zlatanov, for a violation of border control rules committed on 4 January 2024 at the Strezimirovci BCP.
According to sources of "Around the world and at home", one of the suspended officers was the one who carried out border control and allowed Alexander Kinov to leave the country with the identity card of Kirill Rusev. The second suspended officer carried out the border check when Kinov entered Bulgaria without checking why he was not registered on exit. The third was in a managerial position.
