US STATE SECRETARY JOHN KERRY VISITS BULGARIA

U.S. Secretary of State, John Kerry, is visiting Bulgaria at the invitation of Bulgaria’s Foreign Minister, Daniel Mitov. On 15th of January, Kerry will meet with Bulgaria’s President Rosen Plevneliev and Prime Minister Boiko Borissov in Sofia.

Trade cooperation and investments, partnership in the areas of security, defense and energy will be in the focus of the discussions during his visit.

The energy policy of Bulgaria following the cancellation of “South Stream” gas pipeline project is also on the agenda.
