Vice President Iliana Iotova will present Bulgarian identity documents to Hristian Pendikov, secretary of the King Boris III Bulgarian cultural club in Ohrid, on May 10, in the Coat of Arms Hall in the Presidency, the Head of State's press secretariat said on May 9.
Vice President Iotova signed the decree on acquiring Bulgarian citizenship on the grounds of Pendikov's Bulgarian origin., the statement said.
Hristian Pendikov, the secretary of the "King Boris the Third" association in Ohrid, was attacked and beaten up in Ohrid, Republic of North Macedonia, on 19 January, and a day later he was transported by the government plane "Falcon" for treatment in Bulgaria. He was admitted to the MMA, where he was operated for a broken jaw.
