A 39-year-old man from the village of Simeonovets, district of Pazardzhik, shot a woman with whom he was having relations. He shot her in the head with a hunting rifle. The victim was 42 years old, the Pazardzhik District Prosecutor's Office said at a briefing on December 19.
The violent crime took place in Simeonovets last night at around 19.10. The perpetrator was quickly identified and arrested.
He will be charged with two counts of premeditated murder and illegal possession of a weapon.
The man has no previous criminal record, but he had 1.32 promille of alcohol in his blood.
He will be remanded in custody.
