The 10 year old Krisia Todorova from Razgrad who has captured the hearts of thousands of fans in Bulgaria with her talent as a singer and the virtuoso pianists – the twin brothers, Hasan and Ibrahim Ignatovi, from Shumen, will represent Bulgaria at this year’s Junior Eurovision song contest. The event will take place on 15th and 16th of November in Malta.
The little artists will compete in the prestigious contest with the song “Planet of the Children”. It was written by Krisia and tells a story about a beautiful and innocent dream of a child. It is about a fairy who wants to awake the child in everyone and believes that only goodness exists on the planet of the children and there are no wars, no fear and famine.
Two broadcasters, the Bulgarian National Television (BNT), which is the only broadcaster that has the right to send a participant in the competition and the commercial BTV, which first discovered the talent of Krisia and the two pianists, united forces to share the performance of the brilliant young artists at Junior Eurovision 2014.
This year’s edition of the song contest is under the slogan “Together” and will have a charity mission. Part of the incomes will be distributed to the charity organisation Worldvision, which is fighting for the children’s rights throughout the world.
If you live in a country that participates in the contest, do not miss the chance to televote for Krisia, who will appear 2 in the running order on the first day.
Online voting is introduced for fans from outside the 16 participating countries. The votes cast online will select a winner which will receive a special award, the ‘Online Voting Winner’ trophy.
