YOUNG BULGARIAN ENTREPRENEURS CREATED A MOBILE APPLICATION FOR HEALTHY EATING

A team of three young Bulgarian professionals have created the first of its kind mobile application for healthy eating, which will entirely replace the personal nutritionist. “EatWell’’ includes an innovative algorithm which generates eating regimes for each individual consumer, free of charge.

The application is created by Pavel Cholakov, a Bulgarian student in Holland. Ivan Manolov is the designer. He studies in Germany. The IT specialist is Evelina Atanasova, who also moves forward the implementation of the project, as she is the one who lives in Bulgaria.

Evelina says that over 70% of the people do not eat healthy and this leads to health problems. She added that the goal of the EatWell team was to improve people’s health by enabling them to eat healthy.

In practice the personal nutritionist is brought to the mobile phone and is designed to be used at anytime and anywhere. It only takes few minutes to insert biometric data and the application generates the personal nutrition regime.

The implementation of the project started six months ago. And the three young people invested all their savings in it. Now they need additional funds and the team continues to look for options to complete the project successfully.

The IT specialist Evelina hopes that within the next two years, the application would have at least 100,000 users.
