Delyan Peevski, leader of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) and leader of "MRF-New Beginning' Parliamentary Group:
“The decision to resign belongs to the mandate holder and the parties in the coalition. We supported them so that we could help people, particularly because the budget was highly social and we defended it.
We said ‘no’ to the oligarchy and to reducing taxes for its benefit. There should have been a dividend tax and a tax on gambling so that there are sufficient funds for all sectors of society.
Our view is that Bulgaria should be a social state and should support its people. That is why, at this moment, the full responsibility lies with the Soros–We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria coalition, as I mean to say. The winner is someone else and should come forward today.”
