Fourteen illegal migrants were detained at the eastern entrance of Kazanlak, the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior in Stara Zagora said on September 11. The foreign nationals were travelling in a car driven by a 20-year-old man.
At 18:40 yesterday, the vehicle was stopped for inspection by officers of the Kazanlak District Police Station. It was carrying 14 men aged 20 to 30 who were without identity documents and explained that they were citizens of Syria.
All of them were detained for up to 24 hours at the Kazanlak District Police Station. Fast-track proceedings have been initiated in the case.
