As of October 22, an anti-epidemic measure is introduced for wearing face masks or other means covering the nose and mouth in outdoor public places. In case of crowding and impossibility to observe a physical distance of 1.5 m, citizens are required to wear masks or other means covering the nose and mouth (including a scarf, shield, etc.).
The Order on the compulsory wearing of masks in outdoor public places was issued by the Minister of Health Prof. Kostadin Angelov on October 21.
Exceptions are customers in restaurants and drinking establishments; outdoor and indoor athletes; participants in congress-conference events during their speeches; presenters and guests in TV shows. Exceptions are also children under 6 years of age.
Places and spaces that are freely accessible and/or intended for public use are considered public.
According to the same Order, persons providing administrative and other services to members of the public should use the means of information and communication technologies and, if possible, provide the relevant services in an electronic environment.
