Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 586 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 309 from 4,117 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on October 24, 2023.

The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the pandemic are 1,321,117.

The active cases are 5,154.

Of the total, 452 patients are in hospitals, 27 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

• 412 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 1,277,441

• 2,424 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to 4,680,294;

• 2 Covid-19 related deaths, bringing the total to 38,522;

Of the daily cases, 58.87%% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 50,00% had not been vaccinated.

There were 108 new hospitalisations, of which 74.07% had not been vaccinated.
