A fire has engulfed approximately 150 decares (about 37 acres) of forest near the village of Dazhdovnitsa in the Kardzhali region, Southern Bulgaria.
The alert was received shortly after 2:00 p.m. today, on August 13. Police stated that there is no danger to the population or nearby properties. Firefighters and teams from the state forestry enterprise are on the scene.
