Exactly at 19:00 on 1st of December, the Mayor of Sofia, Vassil Terziev, lit up the Christmas tree, placed on the new pedestrian zone next to “Alexander Nevski” Cathedral.
The festive programme includes a concert of children's dance and music groups, as well as a performance with fairy light puppets. Santa Claus also arrived to take pictures with the children and hear what their Christmas wishes were.
