Two women injured during the powerful storm that hit Yambol have been admitted to the Emergency Department of St Panteleimon General Hospital.
A 58-year-old woman was injured while closing a window. She was admitted with cuts and a torn tendon in her right hand.
The second woman, aged 66, was knocked down by hurricane-force winds. She is believed to have suffered a limb fracture, with X-ray results still awaited, the hospital said.
There is no danger to the lives of either of the injured women.
