Police officers in Varna arrested a 70-year-old man for distribution of fentanyl. The raid was carried out this morning, July 21, in Aksakovo residential district, police said at a briefing.
The man is known to law enforcement authorities. A search of his vehicle and home found a small amount of fentanyl, marijuana and a scale.

"We can say that some of the fentanyl was prepared for distribution in Dobrich district," said Commissioner Andrei Angelov, deputy director of the Varna Police Department.
The seized drugs have been distributed in doses and the full quantity is not yet known. The police explained that the man was in close relations with a woman who was arrested last week, again for distributing fentanyl.
