A 47-year-old man was detained during a specialised police operation under the leadership of the District Prosecutor's Office in Rousse on July 21.
The operation targeted the production and distribution of narcotic substances. It was held jointly by the employees of the Dve Mogili Regional Police Office; the "Combating Crime" department and "Special Tactical Actions" sectors at the district directorate of the Ministry of Interior in Rousse.
During the search and seizure at two addresses in the village of Pepelina and in Rousse, 300 grammes of dry grass were seized, which in a field test reacted positively to marijuana, 21 sown marijuana plants, as well as quantities of methadone and methamphetamine.
The man was detained for 24 hours. The investigation into his overall criminal activity is ongoing.
