A medical helicopter has successfully airlifted one of the people injured in the serious lorry crash on Trakia Motorway near Karnobat.

The air ambulance landed at the University Multi-Profile Hospital for Active Treatment (UMHAT) in the coastal city of Burgas at around 3:15 p.m.
The patient is a 29-year-old man who was travelling in one of the cars involved in the collision.
Doctors are currently examining him and assessing the extent of his injuries and overall condition.
