Workers and employees from the Road Infrastructure Agency on June 10 staged a protest in Vidin, demanding higher wages.
The demonstration took place on the main E-79 road, near the "Danube Bridge 2," where traffic over the bridge was blocked.
The road workers are calling for a minimum 10% increase in their salaries.
They estimate that an additional 2 million BGN is needed in the agency's budget to meet their demands.
