Eleven people are in custody for the theft of at least 4 vehicles. The cars were stolen from Sunny Beach, Plovdiv and Stara Zagora. They are mid-range cars worth between 20,000 and 60,000 BGN.
Among those arrested are three men from Vratsa who carried out the physical theft of the cars. Two other men, who were logistics, have also been detained. One was responsible for moving the stolen cars to a depot for dismantling, and the other for selling their parts after the dismantleing.
Six were arrested at the depot where the cars were being dismantled into parts. It is located in a village near Sliven and is on a former farm. Signal scanning and car unlocking equipment was found in the possession of the physical perpetrators of the thefts.
