A fire burning in wheat fields is causing traffic disruptions on Trakia motorway, the police in Plovdiv reported on July 20.
The smoke is strongest in the area between km 118 and km 124. Five fire engines are extinguishing the flames, and officers from the "Road Police" sector are redirecting traffic on detour routes.
Cars travelling in direction towards Sofia are being diverted at the 126th km towards the village of Trud.
The fire has been contained and traffic restored.
