33 people detained at security checkpoints during the protest in Sofia on December 10.
Among those detained were individuals found carrying drugs, knives, pyrotechnics and spray canisters.
A 16-year-old was stopped with explosive devices, while a 30-year-old man was found with a knife and brass knuckles. He is also known to police, the Sofia Directorate of the Interior Ministry (SDVR) reported.
The Sofia police told BNT News that two of the detainees were carrying large sums of money: one had €1,500 and an additional amount in leva, while another had 10,000 leva.


Several people were also detained for not carrying ID cards.

One of the detainees was found to be wanted by police.
“The police are managing a situation involving around 50–60 individuals displaying aggressive behaviour near Vrabcha Street,” the director of the Sofia Directorate of the Interior Ministry, Chief Commissioner Lyubomir Nikolov, told journalists at a briefing.
Their profile corresponds to organised fan groups and so-called “locals”, Chief Commissioner Nikolov added.
He thanked the members of the public who protested peacefully.
According to him, around 40 people were detained during the earlier protest in central Sofia.
