The storm that hit Vidin (North-western Bulgaria) around midnight caused power outages in four settlements in Vidin municipality. Two reports of fallen trees in the district city were received, the municipality announced on July 20.
In Ruzhintsi, trees and branches fell in the yard of the kindergarten and the school.
Code yellow alert for thunderstorms and precipitation in the Vidin region and in Northwestern Bulgaria is in effect for today as well, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology warns.
