Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 33 new cases confirmed over the past 24 hours

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 33 from 241 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on October 2, 2023.

The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the pandemic are 1,314,424.

The active cases are 3,222.

Of the total, 329 patients are in hospitals, 21 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

• 1 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 1,272,736

• 185 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, 4,617,576;

• 1 Covid-19 related death, bringing the total to 38,466;

Of the daily cases, 60,61% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 0,00% had not been vaccinated.

There were 51 new hospitalisations, of which 80,00% had not been vaccinated.
