Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 397 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 397 from 2,698 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on October 26, 2023.

Test positivity rate is 14,71%.

The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the pandemic are 1,321,917.

The active cases are 5,590.

Of the total, 496 patients are in hospitals, 29 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

• 147 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 1,277,796

• 3,442 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to 4,683,676;

• 3 Covid-19 related deaths, bringing the total to 38,531;

Of the daily cases, 56,93%% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 66,67% had not been vaccinated.

There were 85new hospitalisations, of which 65,88% had not been vaccinated.
