The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 434 from 2, 950 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on October 3, 2023.

Test positivity rate is 14,7%.

The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the pandemic are 1,314,858

The active cases are 3,424.

Of the total, 339 patients are in hospitals, 23 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

• 230 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 1,272,736


• 2,234 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, 4,619,810;


• 2 Covid-19 related deathс, bringing the total to 38,468;

Of the daily cases, 60,14% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 100,00% had not been vaccinated.

There were 78 new hospitalisations, of which 69,23% had not been vaccinated.
